Well he dropped by a few days ago with a barrel of grog and some smoked rabbit to thank me for helping him out. After we finished the whole barrel (never been able to out-drink a dwarf) Vim (the dwarf) starts tellin' me this story about the legend of The Salty Pirate and how his ship went down at the cove to the west of town. Obviously, a ride out to the coast in the middle of the night seemed like a genius idea in my drunken stupor. Said they ‘weren’t what he was expecting’, not sure what he’s trying to cook. Told him he has to check the description on the back in future, this isn’t a library! I’ll be keeping my eyes on that rogue when he comes in next time, especially after he bought ‘Hot Pockets – A guide to pickpocketing’. Time to lock away the expensive

The Vault

It appears that Erik was here all along, but not quite here. He discovered something in the back of the stock room, something a bit like a vault, I can’t say more till Mavis finishes her experiments, but this could be game changing!Since Erik's been back, he's even more hyperactive than usual, he came up with the idea of selling adventuring guides, he's already created his first 'tip'!artwork by @sun.sneeze

The Shopkeeper's new Shoppe

Well, things have been busy, we had to relocate the shop as we were runnin' out of space. The new place ain't so bad, high up on a hill just outside of town, nice and peaceful which means less complaints from the neighbors, but further to walk to the Tavern, there's got to be at least a 100 steps on the hill! Only problem is I haven't seen Erik since the day we moved in, it's been 5 days now and I'm starting to get worried about him, not to mention the fact I nearly lost a finger feeding the

Scurvy Sue's Toy

Me and Erik were travelling back from Drystone with some new stock yesterday. As we went over the old stone bridge over the River Wellton we heard whimpering, so I pulled over to the side of the road to investigate. I cautiously walked back towards the bridge with Erik, expecting to see Scarva the troll, but what we found instead was a sad whimpering mess of an adventurer dressed in only his underwear. This poor guy was visually shaken and covered in lipstick. He seemed very relieved to see

The Derpy Mimic

What is quite possibly the most weirdly adorable mimic was dropped into the shop today. Rumour is; Stinky Steve the lusty rogue got more than he bargained for when his half-orc Seer lover discovered he was cheating on her. She labelled him a dog and laid a curse on him that he would live out his days as a canine. When he slumped off to a local cave to literally lick his wounds, he was promptly eaten by a mimic. The curse appears to have transferred to the mimic, the result is what you see

Blood, Sweat, Tears and a Naked Dwarf!

I swear, I’ve spent more time cleaning than anything else today. These Adventurers think it’s perfectly acceptable to walk through the place in their grimy boots, mud I can handle, hell, even the dwarf who left bloody footprints from his last encounter, but when I have to scrape kobald guts and even half an orc’s eyeball of the floor, it’s going a bit far! Maybe I should put up a sign? Then to top it off we had a sky clad dwarf come in today, let’s just say I’m glad he had a LONG beard! I

A New Employee!

Remember that travelling monk that sold me the dodgy beholder’s eye? Well, I had one or two drinks at the tavern and was coming back past the shop, he was stood there by the back of his cart screaming and yelling as he was knocking ten bells of crap outta this little goblin fella. Well, I’m not normally one to get involved in other folks’ business, but it just didn’t seem right to not do something. Like I say, I’d had a drink or three, so I ambles over to him and starts a loud conversation

Need more staff!

The shop’s getting really busy, between feeding the mimics and restocking, I barely have time to catch a wink of sleep, I swear them mimics are multiplying, they’re worse than that were-rabbit I dumped in Mavis’s garden! Then this morning two fingered terry stopped in, the poor rogue thought this thing was a trinket box until it began to consume him from the fingertips upward! Toland’s other children, Tokand and Toband (those names, right?) have both disappeared under mysterious circumstances recently, only a few days after Toland died of old age, leaving a large bit of wealth. So, as you can imagine, when I saw Torand coming into the shop this morning I was a bit uneasy, especially when I noticed he was dragging
